Questo post contiene pezzi in inglese, spero siate tutti piu' o meno
basilarmente pratici della lingua di albione.
Stavo per iniziare una nuova campagna con D&D 3.5 un giocatore vuole
fare il kercpa. Di base questa razza ha le seguenti caratteristiche:
KERCPA AS CHARACTERS
A kercpa character exchanges its 1 HD of monstrous humanoid for its
first class level, so a 1st-level kercpa rogue has a d6 Hit Die, a +0
base attack bonus, the base save bonuses of a rogue, and the rogue's
skill points and class skills.
Kercpa have the following racial traits.
· -4 Strength, +8 Dexterity, +4 Constitution, +2 Wisdom, -2 Charisma.
· Tiny size. +2 size bonus to Armor Class, +2 size bonus on attack
rolls, +8 size bonus on Hide checks, -8 penalty on grapple checks,
lifting and carrying limits are 1/2 those of Medium characters.
· Monstrous Humanoid: Kercpas are not subject to spells or effects
that affect humanoids only, such as charm person or dominate person.
· A kercpa's base land speed is 20 feet. A kercpa has a climb speed of
40 feet.
· Darkvision out to 60 feet.
· Arrow swarm. By taking a -5 penalty to all attack rolls for a round,
a kercpa may make two additional ranged attacks at its highest attack
bonus, as part of a full attack.
· Camouflage: A kercpa can use the Hide skill in any sort of natural
terrain, even if the terrain doesn't grant cover or concealment.
· Sylvan bond: Kercpas have long fought alongside elves, and train in
special tactics with them from a young age. A kercpa gains a +1 morale
bonus on attack rolls when adjacent to an allied elf.
· +2 racial bonus on all saving throws
· Racial Skills: Kercpas have a +8 racial bonus on Climb checks. A
kercpa can always choose to take 10 on Climb checks, even if rushed or
threatened. A kercpa uses its Dexterity modifier instead of its
Strength modifier for Climb checks. A kercpa has a +4 bonus on Listen
and Spot checks. A kercpa has a +4 racial bonus on Hide and Move
Silently checks when in forested areas.

Un bel bestiolino che si merita tutto quel +3 di LA
Ora dato che stiamo partendo da bassi livelli, ho preso l'idea di
"Savage Species" (specie selvagge) e dai vari "races of XYZ" di fare
dei livelli di razza per il kercpa, cosi' che parta "spompato" e poi
se prende i livelli di razza puo' diventare il bestio di cui sopra,
altrimenti prende i livelli di classe normale e sale come un qualunque
altro personaggio ma mette da parte il suo patrimonio culturale, in
pratica rimane immaturo rispetto ad altri kercpa. Volevo sapere cosa
ne pensavate, ecco come e' venuto:
Kercpa
· -4 Strength, +2 Dexterity, -2 Charisma.

rolls, +8 size bonus on Hide checks, -8 penalty on grapple checks,

Ora il kercpa base mi pare abbastanza in linea con un coboldo, quindi
direi che va bene come razza "base" senza aggiustamento di livello

and +2 to her Wisdom.
Ci sono delle modifiche rispetto alla razza di base: non prende il
bonus +2 a tutti i tiri salvezza (ho deciso di implementarlo dandogli
tutti i tiri salvezza Buoni) e non ha il sylvan Bond perche' non
c'entra nulla con la mia ambientazione, ma teoricamente se uno lo
volesse lo puo' mettere al 3rzo livello insieme con gli altri
addestramenti alle armi.
Dare tutti quei bonus alle caratteristiche fisiche in solo 4 livelli
mi pare tantino, ma se andavamo preciso con le regole di "savage
species" avrebbe dovuto diventare come il kercpa normale in 3 livelli
netti, io veramente sarei tentato di farli diventare 5 questi livelli,
perche' dopotutto si becca anche dei bonus ai tiri salvezza, dei punti
abilita', dei dadi vita e un bonus di attacco base (che a parte i
punti abilita' ed i dadi vita non cambierebbero dal 4 al 5nto livello)
che non mi pare poco, ma poi ho deciso di lasciare perdere, un
ulteriore livello in piu' cambierebbe parecchio la pesantezza di
questa razza agli alti livelli, quindi per ridurre al minimo i
vantaggi di questa classe ho messo dadi vita e punti abilita' ai
minimi.
Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate.
